Easirent is a smaller rental company. At Manchester England, they are not located with the other car rental companies, so you to call them and wait for them to pick you up. When you first land, and you don’t have a phone, how are you going to call them? It took us an hour to figure out the phone situation and finally get picked up. The staff at Manchester was very nice, but way too busy. It took another 30 minutes just to talk to someone. Then once all of the paperwork was done, our car wasn’t ready. We had to wait another 10 minutes for them to clean the car. The car itself had seen better days. It had over 50,000 miles. The trim around the rear view mirror was missing. The wipers were terrible and needed to be replaced. The intermittent wiper feature didn’t work. The trunk never opened on the first try; we literally had to unlock the trunk once, then pry up the trunk with our fingers, and then release the trunk a second time. The car was littered with scrapes and dings. We constantly had a warning that the battery in the remote needed to be replaced. And the gas tank was at 3/8 full when we got it. Our final drop off was in Aberdeen Scotland. There, the drop point is in a hotel. We were there before they opened and had to use the drop box. It was a gray box with no markings that says Easirent or “night drop”. Two days later, I still don’t have confirmation that my rental is complete. I would not rent from Easirent again.
